PPS Board Unanimously Refers Bond to Voters for May Ballot

Portlanders for Safe and Healthy Schools would like to congratulate the Portland Public Schools Board of Directors for a unanimous vote to refer the 2017 Health, Safety, and Modernization Bond to the May 2017 ballot this Tuesday evening.

It is time to build safe and healthy schools that will protect our children today while building for their future. The 2017 Health, Safety, and Modernization Bond removes dangerous materials and neurotoxins from every school in the district while also giving our kids the modern education and technology tools they need to succeed.

Portlanders for Safe and Healthy Schools, a citizen-led effort in support of the bond, are calling on all supporters of our public schools here in Portland to get involved.
